its a no go on the doctor visit today...

well we've decided its a no go for the doctor visit...jon is in no shape to go very far..that fact that he made it to the wheelchair is hard enough...he's having double vision and just nauseated still..
celene- i did the lemon in water thing..we'll see how that goes..and yes i make him eat..he's had applesauce and yogurt and half a piece of bread all day..so we'll see how the rest of the day goes...

so looks like we'll all be home today..

Christina,
I've enjoyed reading your blog. My sister, Christy Goodman, is soon to be your sister in law's sister in law. I'm also good friends with Melanie Baker and Becca Meisenbach, both friends of yours. How is that for a connection? :-)

I just wanted to say that your blog writing is not just great for the connection it creates between you and all those praying for you (my family included), but it is going to be treasured by your children and grandchildren and posterity. My Grandma Jack came down with polio back in the late 50's as a young mother, and became a paraplegic over night. The journal that she wrote about being in a hospital by herself and in an iron lung for six months (while her husband was still holding down his job in another county and her small children were sent out of state to live with her sister) and so on is a treasure for us. Reading about the difficulties she faced and how she overcame them helps me on a daily basis, and I'm so glad I can read her journals, her philosophy on life to remind me of how she did it. The kind of faith and trust and determination to pull through, which she had so early on in those dark days, reminds me of yours and Jon's. Knowing how she pulled through that situation and went on to experience much happiness, I believe you will too. Our prayers are with you every day.
