Well today's dr's visit was AGAIN a TOTAL WASTE!!! im super frustrated!!!! our appt was at 230pm..we got there an HOUR later they bring us back ONLY to tell us..we cant take you because A)we dont take HMO's and B) its past the 90 coverage period for dr. jackson to see you...so i gave them my ear full..i told them we MADE an appt WITHIN the 90 days ORIGINALLY only to wait 7 hours to find out he doesnt TAKE appt's at the hospital..THEN dr. jackson TOOK OUR CHART the next day and was going to CALL US at home..he failed that too..THEN we made an appt HERE...so if he doesnt take HMO"S why did he even do the surgery in the first place, and as far as the 90 days goes-thats not my problem..i made my originall appt WITHIN the 90 days AND he said hed CALL us the next day anyway!! I said it shouldnt matter anyway because we get ONE FREE post op appt anyway..they said "well it still needs to be in the 90 days"-i said IT WAS originally- again not my problem someone messed that up!!! So they asked dr,jackson and he said no he wont see us as a post op but as a regular office visit and that we'd need to take xrays- we said NO WAY are we taking MOREEEE xrays- we ALREADY did at the hospital!! they asked "do you have them" we said NO do people usually get to walk home with their own xrays- do they hand those out??? not that im aware of!! why would we have them??? then they said we'll the office visit would be about 60 plus the xrays..we said were not paying for it..so they talked to their supervisor, then the adminstrator and by 415pm we were told, we'd have to pay..we said SEE YA!! if dr. jackson cant BEND for 60 dollars- we're not impressed!!!!!!!!!!! so we left.
so now were home..i need to find out if dinners are still coming or if i need to get on that as well..
i get so bugged that i have to leave the girls, find someone to watch them, jon has to leave his business work for these doctors appts and then they just turn out so bad..jon did make a good point..he said "what was he going to do anyway- just tell us everything looks good..do some poking and prodding and streching and squeezing?? we already know the outcome of this anyway" which is true..but i just told jon i wanted to be mad for 5 minutes!!! i atleast can get that!!! heheh

hey you guys you need a different urologist. Do you know any nurses in your area? Ask them who they would go to. then check your hmo booklet to see if they are on the list. Good luck finding one!

I would be livid. What a terrible doctor and bad management of their office. They need to pull their stuff together. Good luck at the doctor's office tomorrow. Hopefully it will go better.
They do let you pick-up your x-ray's if you need them at another Dr., I have picked mine up a couple of time's. That Dr. is a terrible Dr. to not have seen Jon, I am sorry you experienced such a terrible treatment by that office and Dr. Love Aunt Lorna
i would file a complaint, with the medical board, its not like john has a sprained ankle or something, it's a bit more serious then that.
ya i should atleast write some sort of letter..and today no phone call or apologies or anything..oh well..the world goes on!!
What HMO are you with?
we were with universal care and now we are with health net utilizing riverside medical group as our group thing..
