finding balance

the challenge is finding balance for me..it looks like we're going to have to do alot more on our own..or alot more on my own..we're looking for someone that can come at 8am and stay till 12pm to work with jon, cathing, meds, feeding, bathing, dressing, bowel program, stretching and transferring into wheelchair for the day..then i will take over and do all the meds and cathing thru the day, then transfer him back into bed by 8pm, then cath at 8pm, 10pm with meds and rotate and get his special boots and gloves on, then cath at 12midnite and rotate, then again at 4am with meds and rotate and then again at 7am and rotate...i told jon that im REALLY nervous about the lack of sleep..or it not being continuous..so we'll see how it goes..its just round the clock care right now..he still seems nervous about doing the all nite cath thing..i told him i will try this for a couple of nites- but if im losing my mind, and im mean, and im cranky and its not healthy..he's going to have to try the all nite cath thing..he agreed..so well see how it goes..
for this reason im SOOOOOOOOOOOOO terribly GRATEFUL for the service that SO MANY MANY people are rendering to our family everyday, thank you to those that take my 2 small girls each morning, thank you to those that come do range of motion with jon at nites, thank you to those that help out with laundry, thank you to those that have brought in dinners, thank you to those that come to clean my house every other week, thank you to those that just show up at my house and put themselves to work, also special thanks to our families that come during the week to help me out..im so grateful..i cant IMAGINE having to do this all on my own!! we're so blessed to have such good family and friends and ward to help us at this crucial time..thank you
