4th of July - MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY!!

So today is 4th of July - my favorite holiday because it typically means i will get some yummy bbq ribs!!! its all about the food at the bbq for me!!

Last nite went well..tracy came over and offered to watch the kids so i could take a bath- but who has time for a bath!?!??! so i ended up doing the laundry instead..stuff from the trip and the 3 loads of jons bedding and stuff..before i knew it - it was already 9pm...i came back down stairs and noticed my feet and legs and ankles were SO swollen!!! tracy said im standing and working too much and need to sit down for 5 minutes already!!! i took a picture- ill have to post it on the blog..i also have that BAD sunburn..

I got jon ready for the nite and we were ready for bed by 10pm...i got up at midnite and again at 4am and 8am..each session takes about 30 minutes to complete...i know i couldnt keep doing this forever..jon talked about maybe asking the urologist if he could do like an all nite cath thing...so that when i get up at 12,4 and 8am im just rotating him then i could go right back to bed...THIS is excites me!!! so cross your fingers!!

He has done well today - i did the bowel program with him all by myself..it was tricky because we typically need 2 people incase he passes out..so i had to get him on the commode chair, then quickly turn the commode chair so i could get his feet up on the bed..then i grabbed a chair to put behind his commode chair so that when he passed out i could tip him back and his feet will still be up..so thats what we did- luckily i only had to tip him back once!! becca was everywhere- on the bed- on the chair, under over and on top of things..i had to keep chasing them back upstairs..it was CRAZY - it just made me realize how GRATEFUL i am for my friends that help me in the mornings with the girls!!! even if i end up having to do the bowel program all by myself- having them gone helps immensley!!! thank you to those that watch - im so lucky to have you guys!!!!

Ive got him up in his chair now- he's asleep- im working like mad picking up- sweeping the floors- doing more laundry..i thought i'd sit for a minute and catch up on the blog for today -- we are heading down to OC to the hales home for steaks and to go see the superman movie..i may just send jon and sleep while the little 2 girls sleep over there--i think i need that more then a movie right now!!

I have my nurse coming tonite at 8pm..the 24 hour one..since it was too late last nite to call that one nurse..i'll call tomorrow morning..im anxious to get that started!! we noticed that we REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYY loved not having ANYONE but our family in the home here all day and nite!!!!!

Thank you for your continued prayers- and letting me share my thoughts...my thoughts are REALLY good today- i know that HEavenly Father is looking out for me and jon right now..were in a good place today..thank you for those prayers...
we ask that you continue to pray for jons health..the bowel program seems to working properly now - SO thankful!! Continue to pray for more movement for jon..he works out every morning..even though nothing moves..or it moves very little..he's vigilant about it- we need to figure out his tempature thing..he's either FREEZING or SO HOT!! and now if he needs to be cath'd he will start sweating like crazy!! that use to never happen..but now it does..

Tomorrow we FINALLY go see the surgeon dr. jackson..at 230pm..im not sure if robert is coming up tomorrow or if i will need to find someone to watch the 2 little girls while we go..also thursday we have the urologist appt to see if his "flushing" thing worked or not..if it didnt he'll have to go to IV..so pray that it worked!! we've been doing it for 2 weeks now..that appt is also at 220pm..and again im not sure if scott is coming up or if i will need to find someone for that appt as well..either appt becca will be sleeping..so ill have to figure that out tomorrow morning..

Well time to hit the 91 frwy- i just hope the rest of america isnt on it too?!?!?
