survived nite one!

well i survived nite one!! we cath'd jon at 8pm, then again at 1030pm..then i got to sleep at 1115pm to wake at 12am for another cath/rotation..then i slept till 345am where he woke up in a sweat needing his next cath/meds/rotation..then i set the alarm for 7am..but he said he was okay and to keep sleeping YA!!! suprisingly we slept till 830!! SO NICE!! he said he was still fine and to get the girls ready to get out the door..so i did that and then teresa picked them up for the morning..then i started with jon, i did everything but a bath and still managed to do the bowel program and everything and finished by 11am!! our target goal!! jon says im just WAY faster and WAY more efficient then any other nurse he's had..so we stretched his muscles all our- its amazing how curled up his fingers are but with just LITTLE stretching they are a little more flexixable! w'ell have to keep that up to get them going again..its amazing what hte body does if you dont lose it..
he's in good spirits today..i got him in the wheelchair by 1130am and we started on his outsourcereport business..
the girls got here about 1230 so now jon is crashed out for a small nap in his pressure release position! his PT should be here soon..then i'll feed him give him meds and then we have that outpatient PT at west coast spine near the DMV in riverside at 415pm..ive contacted teresa to help me find a sitter for the 2 girls while we go real quick- i LOVE that its SOOO close!!! we'll see how that goes..
thank you everyone for your prayers- i feel energized today and i know its because youve been praying for our family and we're being watched over..im SOOOOO sorry if ive been SO whiny lately!! i feel horrible that i say anything negative about this experience..but it wouldnt be a real experience if there weren't some negative moments..it helps you to REALLY appreciate the good moments..like today..
i told jon that if he could do the all nite cath thing..that i could probably do all this myself and wouldnt need to pay for a nurse..but he said im not his nurse..im his wife..he wants his wife back..which i totally agree..so im still working on finding someone..i hope to soon..were both worried that this will tear me down..its been SOOO nice having the older 2 girls gone to go thru this short process..and its EXTRA helpful having the younger 2 girls not under my feet while im trying to get jon in and out of wheelchairs - especially the commode chair! typically becca will either sit on the chair or on the bed..wherever im trying to get jon onto!!
well back to business!!
