Hi! I loved seeing Jon online. I have to say, when you first told me about his accident and the extent of his injuries, along with those first photos you took of him, I expected him to be completely paralyzed from the neck down for the rest of his life. So imagine my joy to watch that video and see him moving his arms and talking as if he were just sitting there and could get up and walk away at any time! He looks and sounds great!!
I think it's sad that he had to learn about Project Walk from TV instead of his doctors. Who said TV never teaches you anything, lol! I hope he continues to make progress. He sounds like he has a lot of determination, and he certainly has wonderful support in you.
I don't know if you remember me, we first met at MormonChic. Even though I don't post there much, I've been following your story off and on for over a year now.
I remember your first descriptions of Jon's accident, and those first days in the hospital when just making it through the night was a miracle. It's so wonderful to see Jon moving so much and working so hard, after that initial diagnosis. Your family and your ward are an inspiration to me.
Great work Jon! I know it seems really slow - but I'm amazed how far you've come! And great work, brazilbeachmom! You're in my prayers.
